Ok... let me just update a lil bit about my weekend getaway to Indon.. not far.. It's just Tg Pinang.
Liburan nya nggak syiok deh! Nyesal banget gue! Well.. if we don't go there we wun knw how the place looks like and how the ppl there lives...
Sporeans are so so fortunate to have a good government and a well developed country to live in. Tg Pinang is twice as big as Spore but the whole Island is very rural unlike Spore which is very urbanized.There are more motorbikes than cars on the 2way roads. I was like riding a roller coaster when Pak supir(driver) drove us ard the Island. Hmph! mcm org kaye ade pak supir.. hehe.. At first, i tot, Tg Pinang is like Batam. Kalau aku tau, aku CANCEL! ni semua baba lah nie yg tukar plan! Geram! Geram! Geram! (Upin & Ipin nyer style) I dun care! I still wanna go Batam 1day for my A&W and shopping! you guys must be thinking.. Why Batam? then... tak kan nk go Jakarta kan kan kan... Ishk! Takoot!! ade BOMB! hehe.... mcm paham!
Ok.. cut the subject!
We ferried from Tanah Merah to Tg Pinang. 2days1nite ard the Island is enuf for me! for all makciks makciks, ok lah. But for me, hell no! No 2nd time for me hor... We arrived there and had lunch at Pondok Jawa Timur... Rating will be 9/10! Enaak banget! Total cost is Rp.548 000. Calculate urself lah k.. hehe...
Tummy filled up and went for touring. Went to the Kerepek "factory". Borong! production area is just behind the shop. We can see them making and frying on the spot.
We then head to Bintan Mall. Quite a quiet place for shopping. There are a few trendy shops like G2000, Summit, cant-remember-the-name lingerie shop, POLO house... and you knw where we ended up?? Kedai RUNCIT! haha... i dun knw why but it's so tempting! Items cant be found in Spore. cheap cheap summore. Just imagine Citra body lotion cost Rp.7000 which is ard S$1. Murah kann!! I bought 'She' cologne and talcum, "Fruit Tree" Sosro tea, 3 Citra body lotion! Alah, senang ckp, borong lah! Oh ya, Boo bought this dunno-what -brand-watch @ Rp.140 000.He knws my taste lah seh! Sungguh Bling Bling kan!
I love it! Makasih ya Mas! hehe... Tired of walking, we head back to our Kaputra Hotel.
At night, we went for a massage at Monaliza. All of us had a 1hour whole body massage including the guys, my dad and fiance. The place is like a big rooms but separated by curtains so if sumone screams, we can hear them very clearly. Bilik tu dah mcm MATERNITY ward! Terpekik kesakitan kene urut...The massage was OMG sakit nyer! U knw the traditional indonesian style. Aiyoh! Massage for 1hr cost Rp.60 000 = S$10 like tat lah.. .
After the massage, we went Ramayana just a stones away from our hotel.
Not that interesting lah. Sis and fiance bought 5perfumes! So the gelojoh seh...I dunno why i aint got the mood to shop there. Tired and bored lah. Back to hotel, watched APM which is oh-so-crap! this year so lame siak the APM. Unable to control my eyes anymore, hello to lalaland.
The next day, mum and dad went to dry market with Pak supir while sis, fiance and myself stayed at hotel and do the packing. Since our ferry is at 6pm, we did a last shopping at Ramayana. Promptly went for a hair cut that ended me up looking like a minah indon! Damn it! Benci! Benci! Benci!
I look like shit! asl boleh je drg gunting rambot aku! binget siol aku sampai skrg! nasib baik rambot bleh tumboh! hmph!( tumboh kaper girl! kau pk pokok!) wakarkarkar!! ok cut the crap! We bought those indonesian brand items mostly that was advertised in the TV. Mee Sedap! Coklat flavoured susu pekat! Teh Sosro Fruit tree again! blah blah blah... Shop till we left with nothing! haha.. no more Rupiahs to pay the tax at ferry terminal! amek kau! lucky ade spare with Fiance.
We packed, checked out from hotel and headed to ferry terminal.
Good bye to Tg Pinang and will never come back again. Sorry but it's true, there's not much attraction lah. Maybe if they upgarde a lil bit like Batam then maybe i will consider to come back.. hehe... So the cerewet tau aku nie! Well, a short getaways that brings family together, that's nice anyway.
hmm.. up next is Batam which Mum promised! Jgn tak jadi lah babe!
