Worrying&MissingYou;sWeetieSins Let me share with you on what happened to me today.
It was my 1st day back to wrk aft 4 off days and was on morning shift. As usual, traffic in the morning will either be Heavy or "So-So". Peak hours will never have clear roads.
Ppl, if you guys ever been to P.S by car or bike, u will exit Orchard Rd rite? Den u will meet 2 traffic lights before turning left to Orchard Rd.
The story begins here... I was at the 2nd traffic lights right after ERP gantry and it was on Red. It was 0750hrs at that time.No ERP and not much traffic flows. Few mins later, green arrow lighted up and of coz, i have the right of way to moved off and so the cars on the opposite side. Before moving off, i checked the traffic on my right and to ensure that all of them stopped.
Blind spot den moved off slowly.
When turned my bike at a turning angle(corner), i heard a very loud screehing sound behind me. I slowed down and saw SMRT taxi was jammed breaking his car. The friction btwn his tyres and the road gaves out sumkinda smoke. He is supposed to stop coz it's Red light for him. I was still slowing down at that time which i dont know why. Very Very Slow. Lucky traffic inf of me was clear. Within a split secs, i heard a very loud bang! not one but 4 bangs!
Turned and saw, the taxi tat was unable to break on time, hit a black car. Since traffic was green, those who have the right of way sped up, didnt get the view inf of them and hit the black car's ass, piled up to 3 vehicles! Pieces of glasses scattered in the air, people were screaming and cars were honk-ing. Lots of things happened in a glimpse. It was a very closed call. I was in a state of extreme trauma without noticing, tears rolled down my cheek. My hands were numb and i was unable to open throttle to accelerate. I ride slowly to wrk. Incident happened not far away from my wrkplce. I am totally grateful and thankful to Him for saving my life. If not ...... *touch wood*
Syukur alhamdulillah.
Rched wrk, get changed and started my shift. They said, my face was so white,pale.
I was unable to explain to them why. Trembled.
Gave mum a call to inform her that i've reached. Was my routine everyday.I controlled my voice not to let her hear my sobbed. I dun wanna make her worried.
Everything went as per normal till after i left wrk at 5pm.

Fiance fetched me and went to Taka. Missed call on hp and it was Mum. I called back.
"Hello Ma call eh?"
"Ka, kat mane ni? Nanti balek bwk mtr baik baik eh nak.."
"Nape ma?" was feeling strange...
"Syafiq.. accident teruk. skg kat ICU tak tau hospital mane...badan, muke die semue teruk"
"La ilahaillallah!" i was like gamam.. "ok ok.. nanti iqah call hospitals and check"
Syafiq... is my cuzin same age as me.
Speechless.Shocked.And again tears...
At that very moment i felt like dumping my bike aside. Are all these are signs and warnings for me? Fiance managed to cool me down. We randomly called CGH to check if he was admitted there. With no I/C no., no DOB, they managed to find just by entering his nicknames. Thank God! We rushed there.Crowded.Slow due to temp. taking and only 2 at a time are allowed.
As per my aunt, Syafiq hit a van who was making an ILLEGAL U-TURN. He flew of his bike and landed on his face. Lucky his frens was at the scene. The van driver came out and he was SMILING doing nothing!! Syafiq was lying motionlessly on his fren's lap. Blood was all over his shirt. At the A&E ward, he was shouting and screaming in pain. His face was covered with blood. Doctor said, all the bones in his face are all broken into pieces. This includes, his nose, cheekbones, his teeth totally gone, his lips and eyes swells badly! He also fractured his left hand. Nothing can be done cause his face swells so bad.They have to wait.Need to conduct more X-rays.
The minute i stepped into the ICU ward, i saw his body lying motionlessly, hopelessly on the bed with wires and all sorts of equipment to help him, I broke down again. This time, i sobbed like a lil girl. I just cant bear to see him in that condition. His face, doesnt look like him anymore. Without touching it i knew it's soft cause it has no bones anymore.Swells almost twice his normal sized face. Thank God nothing affects his brains. I am praying hard here, hoping that he will recover soon and able to acknowledge ppl around him.
I learnt a lot today from all this incidents. I tend to appreciate those who loves me. Esp, families,Fiance and friends. I will salam/kiss my mum everytime before i go to wrk coz i dun noe if i can see her again. I will tell Fiance how much i love him and how important he is to me.
And the most important thing is, i won't forget Allah. I wun forget to say prayers to Him asking for a safe journey everywhere i go. I believed that the incident that happened to me was "shield" by Him. If not, i dun tink i am sharing this blog now.
So, dearest blogger, a sincere reminder here. Be it drivers, riders or even pedestrians. When the green light is in your favour, dun just proceed blindly, pls ensure that traffic on right and left stopped before you move off. You won't know if there's some inconsiderate drivers out there who will just dash out and beat the red light. The days are not always bright for you. You will never know that what's gonna happens next. I always have the habit of dashing thru the moment the light turns green and habit of speeding even on normal roads. I am very impatience when comes to riding. Always wants quick and fast. I didnt realise that all these habits is endangering my life. God has sent me lessons to learn. I promise i will ride safely.

4 off days after 7days of owl's life!
Somehow, i just felt that my life is like oh-so-boring when i had to work for lots of night shifts. I wonder how those permanent night shift ppl worked. Life is like so dull with no days and only nights.
Back to the plans for my off days...
It's Father's Day this weekend and i'm feeling so-the-guilty for not organizing anything for Dad like how i did how Mother's Day. But how? My pocket is torn. Futhermore, everything came in as one this month, i can say it's every year!

So Fiance and me planned to make 1 celebrations for that 4 special days for Mum n Dad and Cheezy will be by me only.

Oh ya! I've planned for a Batam trip with family next mth! YES! Finally Dad agreed without much questions. Yelar, kan dpt duit GARMEN! so kiter shopping lah.. hehe...
So, 1 wishlist down! eh not yet! wait till i reached there den consider down ok! haha...

Saturday - will be jemputan day and wash-bike day.

Tuesday - hmmm....No plans yet! might be a good girl for that day.. heee....

I still can remember vividly. This was my hairstyle when i was in Primary 1 but of coz without the the styling. Just flat with long fringe covering my forehead sideways... Lawakan!
